Celebrating a Milestone: Samflo’s First University Graduate

 / November 28,2016

In 2016, Samflo Open Arms Trust took its very first step toward transforming lives—by supporting a young, fatherless undergraduate struggling to stay in school due to financial hardship. What began as a single act of compassion has now become a story of triumph and hope.

We are overjoyed to announce that this pioneer beneficiary of the Samflo Scholars Initiative graduated with a BSc. (Hons) in Microbiology from the University of Ogun State in 2019.

His journey is nothing short of inspiring. Not only did he complete his studies successfully by the grace of God, but today, he is a happily married man, gainfully settled, and actively supporting the university education of his two younger siblings—in partnership with his mother. His academic pursuit continues, as he is currently enrolled in a master’s degree program.

This story is a powerful reminder of what we stand for at Samflo: restoring dignity, creating opportunities, and sparking generational change.

We give all glory to our Lord Jesus Christ and extend our heartfelt thanks to every Samflo Financier and supporter who believed in our vision. You didn’t just help one young man—you ignited a legacy.

Here’s to many more stories like this. The journey continues.
